angerblocks

a new city block for the contemporary suburbia

project within the institute of urbanism and landscape planning, TU Vienna

>the trivial problem of urban planners and architects, to provide qualitative ideas for suburbia seems endless. this project proposes a superordinate system for the contemporary suburbia in european cities<

the city block is meant to be understood as a bridge-system, which would both identify with a regional context (such as Austrian village structures) and a sustainable & expandable urbanist pattern.
