redefining Breitenbrunn
a watersport resort at lake Neusiedl
competition at royce architecture

A big area, that needed specific meeting points and a flat building silhouette in order to react appropriate to the context & challenge to settle disputes between the different user groups of the lido.
The task was to recreate a new identity for the sea resort of Breitenbrunn. with various sport activities - and clubs being considered for the restructuring process, the challenge for "Seebad Breitenbrunn" also asked to consider a usability during the winter times & a clear zoning of all the different sport areas. piers growing out of one orientation point allow the needed building structures to be placed freely and to generate additional free spaces to connect with the surroundings on another level.
